Grand Theft Auto just got stolen

So...I am about to begin the Fall semester and trying to secure my "Funding"...which means i pay less in tution fees....One of my friends had left his job to get into the main jobstream (psst thats the H1B visa you get to work here for 7 years) where the pay is way better. So this job opening (in my school i.e) is for another GTA position...its a 20 hrs a week job (which means i get full tution fee waiver ) with a stipend of 3000 dollars...( yep me went into wonderland too.....i was all for ordering ipod and PSP)...Me thinks i got the best shot here.. I have been a TA for 2 semesters and have the recommendation of the previous guy (who btw had a gr8 rapport with the guy who is hiring now)..so the jobs mine rite.....I mean who could ignore 2 semesters of teaching sometimes 40 or more students..I am thinking me the strongest contender for the job....I get called for the interview.....the interview goes as planned everythings fine he even shows me the syllabus that I have to teach (which is rare in itself according to my referrer)...He tells me he has others to interview and he would let me know within 2 days. I go what the hell i hav landed this job..i am all happy and making plans of going to India and everything ..2 days later i am waiting for his call...he calls me up and tells me that there were some returning GTAs and hence he hasnot hired anyone....poof goes my trip to India, my PSP and my iPod...Thats the way life is isnt it ??? You count your chickens before the eggs hatch....sell them....buy the stuff you want with the profits and are already addicted to them....I was stunned by the reason given by the person i mean why the hell did i or the others for that matter have to go through with the interview only to find out none was being hired.... Now this puts me down for like 2 days and i am thinking nothing worse can possible happen.....Guess wat i am wrong again...I was hoping that my Prof would make me one of the TAs for "CATIA" a software which is used by Aerospace Industries....but that doesnt happen instead he gives it to another guy who has the greatest Indian accent if you know wat i mean (remember 'somebody gonna get a hurt real bad')....So i am wondering if i get a GA position atleast which saves me 2/3 rd my tution fees..i am hoping i can keep that ....I did get the GA position but the pay is lower than what it would have been with the GTA in Physics..But life goes on .....more later...
