Best Laid Plans ????

Me been pretty busy these past few days.. wat with plenty of new Indian Students coming in to Wichita State... So we plan this whole new freshers party for all the new students . We plan a Potluck and an open theater movie and loads of pop and fun ... U hav gud Indian Food a gud movie and ur outdoors rite ?? wat more cud u ask in a party ?? So the party is planned wat each and every household is gonna make is planned and everything is set . The big day arrives and guess wat ?? Its raining cats and dogs on that particular day. I mean how the hell can that happen...wat are the chances that u have a whole 2-3 weeks of gr8 sunshine and wen it actually matters it actually pours ?? So this rain is supposed to be a damper rite ?? ISA (thats Indian Students Association ) doesnt giv up that easy. We start to make alternate arrangements, we get to use a particular building for the occassion and its auditorium. The potluck is gr8, some of the best food many ppl hav had in months maybe years ( unfortuantely didnt get to taste even a single dish .....organisers fate i believe). Nothing goes as planned but the whole show turns out to be a huge hit. The new students were pretty happy, so were the veterans who had been here for more than a year, the movie was an excellent movie 'SARKAR' ( which is a bollywood style 'Godfather' movie ) . Did get drenched abt 20 times(not just me the whole committee members of ISA ...of course ) trying to get things organised but all in all it was a huge success. The satisfaction of an event which turns out to be a hit after all the hardwork is something that cannot be put into words, also realised that the best things that happen are not always planned but happen on the spur of the moment .....I have another story to tell but will not include that under this title ..
