Guns and US

Recently one of my blog friends wrote on the shootings in school, and how she cudnt comprehend how guns cud get into the hands of a kid...for those interested u can read it here it makes for a interesting article... This is an extension on the same article... guns and how its actually being used here...

Yesterday cops were called in to a particular home by a 14yr old kid bcos her father was beating up her mother...this got a patrol of 6 cars to the spot and a S.W.A.T team (to the uninitiated it stands for Special Weapons And Tactics, an elite part of the force) for a domestic violence case ????? U can read that article here but the gist is that during the talk between S.W.A.T and the suspect something happened and there was gunshots..killing one of the officers on the spot and injuring another critically. All this for domestic voilenece???? Wat was the officer trying to do?? He was trying to save another person from being beaten up did that warrant him to lose his life??? Who is to be blamed for this ????? Was this a crime where someone was planning to loot a bank and runaway wit the money..no it was a domestic issue nt one which called for the death of a person...Try and imagine wat the officers family might be going thru..and all this happened bcos the guy inside had a gun.....

Another hold up by a gun-totting person results in the suspect being killed...the article if wanna read here how many more deaths till they realize that guns shud be held only by ppl who need them and are responsible enuf to own one...Its nt for every Tom,Dick and Harry. That a life cud be lost bcos of someone else's stupidity................How much longer ?????????????
